I'm starting something new here, because I always want to know what others do in these situations. Or how others feels, or think.
I'm starting off with this....
Do you ever.......think a child who is old enough to be going to Kindergarten should speak more clearly than your own 2 and a half year old? Because I totally think this EVERY TIME I pick up my daughter from PreK. I hear some of the other kids, older than my own daughter and my two and half year old and I just hope their Kindergarten teachers have a lot of patience!
Is that terrible to think? You tell me........
lol all kids are at different stages. I do daycare and I have a three year old that talks like a teenager cause he has an older teenage sister. My eldest who is older than him can't string sentences together like him either but he's catching up fast and is better at A LOT of other things. All kids have strengths and weaknesses.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter started talking very early and speaks like a grown up. My son, is getting to that point. I just never spoke to them like they were kids.
ReplyDeleteBut man, I can't even figure out what some of these are saying......I feel for teachers. It's rough!
