I decided to take my health into my own hands and learn more about what I put in my body. I learned more about all of the products that I use on the outside of my body. I studied up on all of the toxins that are in my food, along with my water. I found out a lot about the processed food that I eat, because I'm human and that's what I usually eat. I don't know how to cook, besides chili, tomato sauce, chicken cutlets and eggplant - so a lot of processed foods enter my system.
Unfortunately, my health, energy and weight were being sacrificed and I went in search of something that could get me "healthy" and feeling better.
Two friends of mine starting using Isagenix. I honestly thought it was BULLSH*T. Total garbage. But then I started watching some of the videos, like Are You Toxic? and then going online to do more searches, research and found a ton of information that made me question everything I was putting into my mouth......Processed Foods are serious poison. No wonder why I am always tired, feel like garbage and never have any energy, snap at everyone and never sleep through the night. I'm slowly killing myself with the things I'm eating.

When you're done watching that video, check out a few of the others - BUT be prepared, it's not all Champagne and Roses kind of messages!!! It's rather depressing, shocking and mind blowing - but also inspiring, when you decide to do something about it.
I start my IsaJourney on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. And I will be sharing this journey with the world at large.
Now, I'm not throwing pictures of myself in a bathing suit, so you can see all of my "imperfections". I don't even own a bathing suit like that. I wear swim shorts (for women) and a top that goes with it. And that's not something I'm posing in for pictures for the internet. So FORGET IT.
I WILL share my start weight, all of my measurements and give you updates on my IsaJourney. Updates not just on the weight and inches I have lost, but also how I'm feeling.
Stay tuned and come along on my IsaJourney. It should be fun, it should be interesting and it should bring you into my world just a little more!
On days 1, 8 and 30 I have weigh myself AND take measurements of various parts of my body. DEPRESSING on this first day, but my husband enjoyed helping me......I'm sure he'll be very excited on the 8th to see how much I've not just lost in weight, but in inches. What he doesn't realize is that my entire wardrobe will have to be sold so we can buy me a new one! My favorite pieces I'll have taken in, though!!! And I cannot wait.
Mostly, I'm looking forward to the energy and good nights' sleep I'll be getting, along with my cholesterol going down. Healthy Living here I come.

It's very interesting and right up my alley, as u knew, but it's sooooo expensive! But I love looking into it and of course, I would have to be careful with the diabetes. But you go girl! I will be looking forward to your new posts.

It's completely worth it. I wish I had found this years ago. I'm a totally different person now. My husband loves it, it's like he got the girl back from 2004 when we first met. And he's right, I'm just even thinner than that, now, too!
Wow - you go Staci! Those are awesome numbers, keep up the great work! I eat way too much fast food, restaurant food and processed food so I'm sure I'm toxic as well. I'm very interested (and more than a little scared) to watch the videos. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDenise - it's not just the processed and junk food. There are toxins in the air we breathe, it's in the food we grow in our own gardens because of the water being used to water the garden, along with our polluted rain.
ReplyDeleteIt's part of all of our lives, whether we eat 'clean' or not, so the cleanse helps to give our bodies that "oil change" we need. If nothing else, the cleanse for life should be something everyone does. Cleanse every day, do a deep cleanse for one or two days a month, or do BOTH, which is what I will start to do this month. It makes a HUGE difference in how my body works.
