The "I Wants" have started

Look at me...how can you say no to me?

It was inevitable. All kids grow up and start to see those ads on TV and the "I Want...." begins. So far my daughter has requested some Barbie camper thing (she hardly plays with Barbies, but Nana just got her one that kind of looks like her with the dark hair); Big Dora (the commercial with the grown woman talking to the Dora doll at a garden restaurant thing) and about a million other things.
We started a list on the fridge, I told her when her birthday comes she may pick TWO things she wants from that list. The list is HUGE and out of control. What the heck is going to happen when she starts Pre-K in September and sees all the things other kids have? I'm going to need a roll of toilet paper to write on, just hook it up to the top of the fridge and keep writing on it, unrolling it, writing on it, unrolling it, writing on it...................
I hate commercials! "I WANT a vacation."
