G2Organics makes organic, odorless, non-toxic, "good for the environment" and "good for your" products. Plus a portion of her proceeds goes towards Cancer Research. Very cool.
I'll be doing a full blown review on my blog, November Sunflower within the next couple of weeks, along with a giveaway (I HOPE). For now, I want to share my experience with Little Miss and her first "manicure".
Back in November I had a "girls weekend" with my fabulous friend. My treat was a Warm Brown Sugar Manicure and Pedicure. When I got home, my daughter noticed right away I had my nails painted. It doesn't happen often (I think the last manicure I had was when she was two or something and she's now FOUR). It was a treat I don't get often. She said they looked pretty.
I happen to get a coupon in the mail for a local place that was doing a manicure special, figured I'd check them out and see what their "gel" polish could handle. Let's just say it didn't stand a chance against the other manicure. But this time when I came home that night in December, she asked if she could have her nails painted, too. And again the next couple of days.
I went on the hunt for natural polish, as I did NOT want to place toxic polish on my daughter's fingers. I found a few, but they were super expensive, so I told Little Miss when we had a little extra money, I'd buy her the natural polish and we'd paint her nails.
Then, Cherie sent me a package in the mail and in it was NATURAL NAIL POLISH!!!! I could have kissed her up and down and all around. I emailed her to double check it was natural and she confirmed it was non-toxic and she used it on her own daughter, too.
VICTORY. And so, my Little Miss got her nails done on Sunday night. She LOVES it. Keeps looking at them, showed Daddy, her little brother (who actually looked at me, put his hands up palms down and asked "where mine?") and her Nana and Grandpa. She cannot wait to show her teachers tomorrow at school.
Without further ado, I give you Little Miss and her dark pink nails.
