Recently I ran a fund raiser online for ROHHAD Fight Inc. They raise money for children with ROHHAD, all 75 of them who have been diagnosed with this extremely RARE brain disease. The money is not only used to help the children and their families, but also to help fund RESEARCH for the little known about disease of ROHHAD.
Though I raised less than $100 with my fund raiser, the organization could not be more appreciative of my dismal showing. As they look at it, every little bit helps AND there are a lot more people who know about the disease now thanks to my efforts. I'm proud to have helped raise awareness and I'm extremely proud of the four people in my life who truly stepped up and showed their support for something I believe in.
