My IsaJourney: Day 25 - New Years Eve EVE Year in Review

The year is coming to an end......I can't believe how much change has gone on in just the last 25 days. It's been a nutty year!

In 2011 I made the commitment to get all the chemicals out of our home. I thought I was doing that by using Arbonne products......but as I researched it more, I found that even though I was happy with the Clear Advantage line because it didn't burn my face, all the products did have chemicals in them.

I didn't panic, but I did start calling to question the company that I had chosen to work with and start a business with. The answers I received were not to my liking and I started to pull back, re-evaluate and look for organic products that I could truly start loving. I'm still working on that, but I did find a fantastic deodorant from Lemongrass Spa Products. It's the Unscented Deodorant, product R3100. It's got no aluminum or propylene glycol in it. YAY!!! Been using it and I'm rather pleased with it. Wish it was a bit cheaper, but totally worth the $8.00 in my book. I order it online from someone I met through my networking world.

What I also found was that I wasn't feeling all that great. I had removed all the chemical cleaners in our home in 2010, started making all my own. Actually, 2009....when we moved into our new house I started with the NO CHEMICALS rampage! However, it wasn't making enough of a difference on my health. Still tired, sluggish, forgetful, moody and snapping at everyone, even the poor dog. I had a headache, every day, for three years straight. Basically, I was ready for a major change. Just didn't know what it was.

Enter Lisa. I had met her through Arbonne. She had been an Executive National Vice President. This meant she had promoted to the top, National Vice President, then others promoted under her to National Vice President, pushing her to Executive National Vice President. She's a born leader and such a HEART. What I mean by that is: She leads with her heart. It's never about "money", it's about doing what she loves and the rest will happen. And she wants that for EVERYONE she cares about.

When she left in August of 2011, I was devastated and it kind of made me push Arbonne even further out of my life, because I didn't believe in it. The products had chemicals in it, not as many and not the super harmful ones other companies used. They definitely don't have Parabens, Pthlates or Mineral Oil. But they have chemicals in them, so the PURE. SAFE. BENEFICIAL. wasn't ringing true to me at this point. I needed to move on, but to where? What other Network Marketing Company could give me the life I had set up for myself, but with products I TRUSTED and believed in.

It was November 2011. I had enough of the headaches. I remembered Lisa saying she was feeling great, making great money, etc. So I emailed her, asked her about it all and she called me within a day. Chatted with me about Isagenix and how it had transformed her body, her life and her world. I thought she was full of sh*t (sorry for the potty word). I rolled my eyes and said "Right." She didn't miss a beat and said to me, "It's a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. And honestly, if you don't like it, I will BUY the products from you."

Me being a pessimist and frugal, I said SIGN ME UP, let's rock it out and see what this is all about.

I'd like to thank Lisa with all of my heart, soul and being. She didn't let me talk myself out of it, she insisted I try it, because having energy was important to me, so it was important to her.

And now, I could not be happier, or healthier. Lisa made "the difference" in my life. In my family's lives, too. My kids have a totally different mother. I'm relaxed, I'm not shouting all the time, I'm not going into another room to calm down in order to work the "parenting" skills I had been working on all year. Having Isagenix in my life is a blessing.

Yes, I'm losing weight. Yes, I have shrunk my inches. Yup, those Double D's are still there, but the inches around my back have decreased and my bra doesn't cut into me as badly. I have to clip it in the middle set of clips, instead of stretching the outer one to the MAX and living in fear the girls will spring out at the most in-opportune time! (It's happened. MANY times.)

However, that's just icing on the cake.

I no longer need:

• Cups of coffee, or let's face it, an IV of caffeine stuck into my arm! I don't suffer from chronic shoulder, neck and back pain. 
• I haven't had a headache since December 8th - wait, I'm sorry, today I had a sinus headache (got a sinus infection, can't ignore it anymore, gotta call and get antibiotics as soon as I finish my post). 
• I don't have those horrible cravings for chips, pretzels, cookies, donuts, cheese doodles, potato sticks....do I need to go on?
• I wake up, every morning, HAPPY. HUH? I have NEVER been a morning person. Actually, I never liked waking up, didn't matter what time of day I was getting up.
• I don't snap as much as I use to, the mood swings are almost completely gone - when I keep up with my Ionix Supreme.
• I'm eating healthier, whole foods.
• I've actually started cooking, without burning things, like the pots, pans, myself, etc. - and it's edible. (Making Turkey Chili right now, along with a Turkey Meatloaf that's in the oven. Will be making a Chicken Paella and a zucchini and tomato casserole tomorrow before my parents come over for dinner for the New Years Eve celebration).

I guess what I'm saying is this: Try the products out. I had a lot to lose giving up Arbonne. Income, reputation, friends, etc. But my health and my family were more important to me.

Today was difficult for me with the sinus thing, but my Ionix kept me strong! I only yelled once when my husband tracked a ton of dirt through my entire house...........which my son followed into the bathroom, then missed the toilet and they just ignored it. SO I yelled. Not sure if anything could have stopped that reaction! LOL. I'm human, I'm no saint!
