Never Too Late

It is never too late to become who you always wanted to be.

It's so true, it's never too late to become who you always wanted to be. Last January I made the decision to make some changes, because I wasn't the "mom" I wanted to be. The yelling all day, screaming instead of talking, and the insanity that came with all of that, wasn't healthy for our family.

I was given the chance to review a book over on my other blog, November Sunflower. It was called Stop Reacting and Start Responding™. Best book I have read in years. I refer to it every day, because it helps me each day become the mother I want to be. 

Our 2011 did NOT go as I had expected. In February, I joined Arbonne. I truly thought this company was the real deal. The products I had been using since my daughter was in the womb, because I had issues with Acne (not as a teen, of course, but as someone in her mid to late twenties). The doctor told me NO PROACTIVE, that's poison. So I found the Clear Advantage line from Arbonne and he said it was clearly much healthier.

Great. But when my friend came to me and told me about the business, I thought this would be PERFECT for us. I could work from home, while doing the blog and being with the kids. Perfect, the products were safe, pure and beneficial.

I did rather well, for quite a few months. Made money, rose to District Manager. And then I started to realize, I was away from the kids way too much. Not what I wanted. And then I started reading the ingredients on my packaging for the products, I questioned a lot of what was in the other products in the various skin lines.....and that's when I realized I was misinformed. There's no way this was pure, safe and beneficial for us to use. 

Sure, it was purer, safer and more beneficial than a lot of what is out there, but it wasn't what I thought it was. Great they are Vegan, almost totally Gluten Free, but that wasn't enough for me. I didn't want my business to grow, as I didn't have the trust and passion for Arbonne anymore.

The good news? There's always a reason why things play out the way they do. I met someone through Arbonne who turned out to be far smarter than I am. She was an Executive National Vice President with Arbonne and LEFT. Just left. Bravely decided to move to a new company she loved, trusted and believed in. She was treated unkindly by many people from her former business, but she rose above it and became the fastest little team builder in Isagenix in the history of the company. 

However, when I called her, I had no idea what she had moved to and had accomplished. I just knew that she had posted how great she was feeling. The products she was using were helping her energy, she was healthy, etc.

Finally, in November of 2011, I became the person I always wanted to be. Well, not true. I decided to jump on board the Isagenix juggernaut that Lisa had created. The DAY I changed forever was December 8th, 2011. I truly became the person I had always wished to be. A good Mom. 

I woke up that day feeling amazing. I had no headache, which I had been suffering from for three years straight. I had less pain in my neck, shoulders, upper back and hip. I got out of bed HAPPY. I DANCED to the bathroom, sung while I got cleaned up, danced back to the kids' rooms to get them up. 

Since then I am the Mom I have always wanted to be. That patient mother, who can explain things to her child without losing her mind and both of us ending up in tears. I'm the Mom that doesn't scream and yell, I don't lose my temper for stupid things. I have TIME to sit with the kids and be fun mom, instead of "keep on schedule" dictator mom.

I don't have stress. Things don't overwhelm me like they use to. I have energy to go from 7am to 11pm without feeling like I am ready to pass out and then lay in bed STRESSING and not being able to sleep. I am NO LONGER pissed off all the time. I'm calm. Collected. Care free. 

Are there things that cause minor discomfort, sure. We can all use more money. Don't get me wrong, we still have daily issues to contend with, but they no longer take over my life. I can be LOGICAL and I don't let the garbage cause me to not sleep at night, or for me to take it out on everyone. 

Money is coming.....every day I increase a bit more. People see me, they look at my kick ass weight loss and they witness this new person and they want me to show them how to get what I have. 

What I have is EASY to get. It's worth every penny I spend on it. It's the BEST thing ever, because now I have become the person who I always wanted to be. My kids smile a lot more these days and I know I have Isagenix to thank for that.
