Little Miss does DANCE

What a weekend we had here! My Little Miss has been taking dance all year. Last Summer I figured we'd try it to see if she liked it, so I did 4 weeks during the summer for a cheap price at a local dance place. She loved it, so in September when she started Kindergarten, I figured we'd be able to sign her up for dance.

Much to my surprise, she thrived in dance. The teacher said she's actually extremely talented, and so is my son who would stand at the door each Friday to watch. However, The Boy wouldn't take a class on his own, so his talents have yet to be explored in "the dance."

Even more to my surprise, she fell in love with Ballet. At her age, the school puts them in combo classes. Half an hour of ballet, half an hour of tap. For their recital, it's tap. No ballet. Little Miss was a bit disappointed, but she finally came around. The excitement of being on stage with everyone watching her was just TOO FABULOUS for her to not do it, so tap it was for recital time.

So, all year they practiced and on Saturday, she participated in her recital. Her tap routine with her class was in TWO shows. I don't know how other dance schools do it, but this one has three shows on the same Saturday. The kids get broken up into two different shows when they're young, and I guess three when they are older. Who knows, I just had to worry about her two shows.

The girl rocked it. Knocked it out of the park. And had such an amazing time. Didn't complain once about having to wait for hours before her performance in the first show, nor did she complain for the second show when she had to wait even longer. My girl is a superstar.

I mean, seriously, who could resist this little lady?

After the festivities, we came home and had pizza to celebrate with family who came to see her perform. And then, as a fun surprise, we made S'mores! You see, Hershey has started this really cool virtual camp, it's the HERSHEY'S CAMP BONDFIRE. Get it? Instead of bonfire, it's bondfire. LOVE IT.

And of course, as I also write my other blog, November Sunflower, I was BEYOND EXCITED to participate in the event. Check it out --> HERSHEY'S CAMP BONDFIRE

After all of that Pizza and S'mores fun, you bet I did a major cleanse with Isagenix! Needed to flush out the junk, but man, it was fun to enjoy all the goodies with everyone!
