My IsaJourney: Day 16 - Got my SlimCakes and Soup

Today's the 16th day of my journey. WAHOOOOO.

Last night I went to check out a Zumba class, however no one else showed up so I couldn't see what it was all about. BUT, I did get a little lesson in water. And I'm amazed at the different kinds of water there are out there. I always knew that most bottled waters are just filled with tap water and put in a pretty package. However, I had no idea drinking filtered water isn't enough for you to stay healthy. Have you ever heard of Alkalized water? I had heard of it, but never looked into it before. Well, after last night's lesson, I'm looking into it. I'll report back on what kinds of information I find out with further research, but for the general knowledge - it's something that the Japanese have been drinking and their systems to make water Alkalized is considered MEDICAL apparatus.

These "filters" give you more PH balanced water. Takes out all the "crap" that regular filters don't, like my Brita I use. Although, many people say it really isn't any better and to get more PH in your body you can chomp on a TUMS.

Some believe that the Alkaline water, with its higher PH, can neutralize acid in your bloodstream, boost your energy level and metabolism and help you absorb nutrients. I don't know, but it's worth looking into, right? I'd imagine it would be better than sucking down High Fructose Corn Syrup!

We'll see what I find out, I'll let you know.

As for today, when The Boy and I arrived home from visiting my husband at work (he forgot something at home, so we went and dropped it off), The Boy pointed and shouted "A BOX MOMMY". Then ran over to our front stoop and tried to pick the box up. In his mind if it is small, it must be something he can pick up. What he didn't realize was that it was heavy, even though it was small. And it had a nice, big ISAGENIX logo on the side of it. So what arrived in my little box? GOODIES!!

I got my IsaLean soups. One Classic Creamy Chicken and one Savory Tomato. I also got Slim Cakes, which are 90 calories of delicious. They have 5 grams of fiber from whole oats, inulin and flaxseed and are blended with antioxidant-rich blue- and cranberries, so they are SUPER HEART HEALTHY! They ahve been sweetened with natural agave, plus they are low-glycemic and have ZERO cholesterol, articial flavors or colors and are PRESERVATIVE FREE. I also got my bag of IsaCrunch, which is made of hulled hempseed. I can add it to salads, yogurt, or the soups I just got. Plus, if you get creative, you can bread some lean chicken cutlets with it, or fish if that's what you like. It's THC-free and has Omega-6 and Omega-3 essential fatty acids in a healthy three-to-one ratio. Very cool. I didn't try it yet, but I'm sure it'll be fabulous-ness!

I did try one of my soups today, along with the Slim Cakes. I went for the Classic Creamy Chicken. Super easy to make. Just add 8 ounces of hot water to two scoops of the soup mix (I got the canisters with 14-meals in them). You mix up the water and mix, let it sit for 2 minutes and then eat. It actually was creamy. And surprisingly, filling. I was impressed. Looking forward to trying the Savory Tomato tomorrow for lunch.

I also got the Ageless Pain Relief cream. It's suppose to be good for joint pain for those with Arthritis, but also for backache, muscle strains, sprains and bruises. With me, I fall on a regular basis. I'm a total klutz. I've come to terms with that, but my body suffers the consequences. Hoping this helps with some of the issues, plus help a bit with my shoulder pain. THE PILLS, which I did not get, have Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM in it to help support healthy cartilage in the joint, while also help rejuvenate cartilage that has been lost due to wear and tear. If the cream is good, I might get the pills for my Nana who has bad arthritis. But for now, I'm testing out the cream, which is fast-absorbing, greaseless and provides immediate relief from arthritis, backache, muscle strains, sprains and bruises. It's a non-toxic cream and has NATURAL INGREDIENTS like menthol and methyl salicylate, which provide a cooling sensation when first applied and the a deeper heat that helps to relax sore, tense muscles. It also contains Glucosamine, Chondrotin and MSM. Pretty cool. I'll let you know if it works on my shoulders. I plan on using it tonight. Actually, my neck, not so much my shoulders. LOL.

Another day of healthy living, feeling great and on the road to HEALTH and WEALTH!
