Exceed Expectations

RISK MORE than others think is safe.

CARE MORE than others think is wise.

DREAM MORE than others think is practical.

EXPECT MORE than others think is possible.

Every day I say this to myself. Whenever someone actually has the nerve to tell me I'm crazy for trying to grow my blog into a Frugal empire. Each time I'm told the Network Marketing is not going to work and it's just a pyramid scheme. If they saw my paycheck, just my BONUS money, they'd be singing a different tune. 

But each time someone looks down their nose at me for CHOOSING to be home with my kids, instead of being a "office drone" because I have a college education. As they tell me over and over "what a waste of money." I repeat those words to myself and it's like a a chant for me. And all is right in the world. 


Just to make things clear, here's a a little "window" into my day, just one day out of many amazing ones. And the reason I have these kinds of amazing days, is because I chose to be a Mom, who writes a blog and who has a Network Marketing EMPIRE.

I wake up HAPPY, smiling and dance into my daughter's room to wake her for school. Since she always insists on singing for at least an hour after she goes to bed, she's not easy to get up in the morning! This use to aggravate me, now I just tickle her until she's up and out of bed. 

I make my way to the kitchen where I knock back 4 oz. of Cleanse for Life. Get my day going in the right direction! I get my daughter's lunch packed up while she's washing up in the bathroom. Then I head to the bathroom and wash up, while she gets herself dressed. Then I do my first attempt at getting THE BOY up. Another hard nut in the morning. I normally flip his light on, tickle him and he sleeps through it. 

I leave him alone, check on my daughter, head to my room to get dressed, run to the kitchen, get breakfast for the kids and set that up. Little Miss goes and eats, after saying goodbye to Daddy and waving at the window and then I go back to drag my poor little man out of bed, get him dressed and washed up and out to breakfast. 

At that point, I can sling back my Ionix Supreme to jump start my brain and off to school we go. Drop Little Miss off and then me and The Boy head back home, I have my morning shake while we hang out and read the paper, play and hang out. 

I get a bit of work done on the blog, some sites to visit to earn cash and points and then it's play time or running errands. Then some days The Boy goes to school, or we just hang out, do lunch and have fun.

Then we pick up Little Miss, come back home, do homework, I get a bit more work done, they eat snacks and then we head to Jiu Jitsu once my husband gets home to hang with The Boy. Some nights we have Dance and The Boy comes with us. 

Following that, it is dinner and more work for me while the kids hang with Daddy until PJs, teeth brushing, hair brushing and BED. Then I hang out, watching TV, earning points and money. Make phone calls to clients, or to those who wish to start a business with me and Isagenix. After some of that, I sometimes have team calls and other nights I just veg out for more and earn more points and money on the computer. 

I have some other things I get to do, like head out to spend time with a friend once the kids are in bed, or go out and get a manicure while my son is at school, or get some major work done on the blog or my business while both kids are at school.

I fit in the work when I can, if it gets pushed to after the kids are in bed, so be it. DOESN'T MATTER. 

Here's my point: I don't answer to anyone but ME. I don't punch a time clock, I don't have to get back from lunch by a certain time, I don't have to worry about calling in sick if the kids aren't feeling well and want to stay home from school, I can pick up and head out whenever I want without having to ask permission. 

And I probably make more than someone sitting in an office, with a college education (which I also have) and a CUBICLE. My office is right in with my kids' playroom. I can run to help a friend out during the day, or I can just hang with my son at home doing nothing but play stickers and listen to him play guitar! 

And how did I get all of this? I Risked More than others thought was safe. I cared more than others thought wise. I dreamed more than thought was practical . And I EXPECTED MORE than others thought possible.

I Do what makes me HAPPY. I surround myself with people who make me smile. I laugh as much as I breathe. I also choose to be with people who BELIEVE in me, SUPPORT me and have similar POSITIVITY. 

I worked hard to figure out how to be POSITIVE, without losing my sarcasm......I mean, I am a New Yorker and half Sicilian! Gotta have the sarcasm. BUT, I don't ever let it cloud my positive outlook on the most amazing business ever created for people who want to LIVE life, not work all day in an office, at a job they hate, because it is what is EXPECTED of them.

I don't care what is EXPECTED of me. I only care about what makes it possible for me to be the best damn mother I can be to the two most amazing kids ever created.
