I want to scream and shout and let it all out

Okay, now it's really time to get my kids listening to other radio stations! Remember the other day, just one post ago, how I told of my son singing along to a song where the word B*tch is used?

The damn kid corrected me when I sang the wrong words to the song the other day in the car. WTF? I thought he was just mindlessly singing along, but he actually pays attention.

Apparently, I was singing "I want to scream and shout and let it all out. Oh wee oh wee oh we oh. It's Will.I.Am and Britney Bitch."

Well, I made a lot of mistakes in the song. I was emphatically told one specific line was not correct, and according to my son, the correct wording is "You're now-now rocking with Will.I.Am and Britney Bitch."

I almost pissed my pants. He was dead serious when he corrected me, too. He waited until the end of the song to tell me I had sung the wrong thing. Then proceeded to re-sing the wrong line "It's Will.I.Am and Britney Bitch" is wrong Mommy. You weren't listening very well, because the song goes "You are now-now rockin' with Will.I.Am and Britney Bitch."

He followed it up with a smile, a cock of the head, and a finger point AT ME, and said "You're big, you should know how to listen."

Can you believe this kid? As torture on the ride home, I made him listen to B103. There's no cursing on the oldies......but, honestly, he loves all music, so it didn't bother him at all. Perhaps NO MUSIC at all would have been a better option to torture him, but then he'd insist on talking to me the whole ride, and that, my friends, is torture FOR ME.

I'd been schooled enough, I didn't need to be tortured, too.
