Little Miss falls out of bed in her new Pixie Hollow Room

It's been a long time since my last post. Lots going on, and my other blog has been taking up a lot of time! A lot of play dates centered around my son's favorite movie, Wreck-it Ralph. I also had a birthday, and to go along with my birthday, a nice stomach bug that hit the night of my birthday. GOOD TIMES.

At least I got to celebrate before it hit!

Anyway, a lot of time has been spent on creating a fantastic little space in my daughter's room. It's a Pixie Hollow/Tinker Bell nook.......and last night, my daughter fell out of her bed, into her little nook. She barely woke up. I have to tell you, it's a bit of a drop from her bed, to the floor. I still cannot believe she didn't even wake up.

While in bed, I was drifting off to sleep, when I heard a crash. Now, I've been battling a stomach bug, so I wasn't as fast to get up. I pulled myself out of bed, and went into my daughter's room to find my husband had picked her up off the floor of her new "nook." Didn't even notice she had fallen.

The bed has been in the new spot since Sunday. So she slept in her bed, without it against the wall, on Sunday and Monday nights. I figured she would be adjusted by now. NOPE.

Crash. Bam. Boom. She falls. Now we've got to put the bed rail on there, because it is no longer up against the wall of her bedroom. And the bed is a good 3 feet off the floor.

Not sure if this gives you a good idea, but this is a photo of her nook, not quite done, but the picture is taken from the top of her bed. It's a long way down.........and she fell right between the bed, and the white shelving with all her Tinker Bell goodies on it.

I'm also November Sunflower, so it's OKAY that I'm using my own image from my other blog. Don't be alarmed!

Thankful she didn't hurt herself, however, I still grabbed her out of her bed and put her in mine for the night, until we can get the bed rail up to keep her safe during her slumber!

Never a dull moment in our house!
