A Month without a Post

I can't believe it has been a month without a post. I've been very busy with bringing my frugal blog to my self hosted domain, www.novembersunflower.com. Kidzola is just crazy, we re-did the website, blog and newsletter. The summer arrived and much happened with my family in June.
However, the kids are still growing and learning and having fun.
We took Little Miss to Lowe's for a Build and Grow workshop and she loved it. Not at first. She was super shy, she didn't want to walk up the stairs to the classroom, she refused to do it without me and The Boy going with her and Daddy. So we all went up to do the Build and Grow.
It was very cute. She got her own apron, goggles and merit badge. Once she got that hammer in her hand, she was LOVING the whole thing. Keeping The Boy occupied while she built her game was another story. Him with a hammer, not a good thing!
All in all, she did a great job and I think had a lot of fun with Daddy. Now our next goal is filming a news segment next Saturday with a nutritionist and a camera man in our kitchen......The Boy will love it, not sure about Little Miss.
Speaking of The Boy. He's just an animal! Climbing, throwing and doing all the things he is not suppose to. We have had a few scares from him getting out of our "cage" we made in the living room and showing up at the top of the stairs......so we had to rearrange our living room and I have made a different kind of "cage". It won't last much longer. He is a lot smarter than I like when figuring out how things work. Took forever to learn how to walk, but once he did, the whole world was turned upside down! And he isn't talking much YET, with Little Miss as a big sister, there is no reason to talk, she does it all for him. And right now, everything is Daddy......which I find completely annoying and have made this known!
I now have given him a few new nicknames, such as Beasty and The Punk. Check out the photo of him in his cap and you'll see the reason why I call him The Punk. He's a riot and keeps us laughing a lot.

Watching him do Itsy Bitsy Spider, or ask for us to do Trot, Trot to Boston (which is tot, tot when he says it)....he's learning, every day, even with his big sister there, stomping on my attempts to teach him every step of the way! She just wants to always help him, so I can't get too upset with her. She'll be in school in September.......still can't believe Pre-K already. So she'll be coming home and teaching him all the new things she learns each day. And while she's away, I might be able to finally teach him his colors, or something!
