This morning on the Today show, they have a fantastic story done about finding a way for people to live forever. Now, listen, I don't want to live forever. That's just silliness. BUT I do want to live healthier and longer. I want my cholesterol to be under control without medications, I want to have more energy, be in a better "mood" and state of mind. I'd like to be stronger, not living in chronic pain every day.
This is why I chose to take this Isagenix Journey. The story is interesting, no doubt. If I could have my entire family on Isagenix, so cholesterol, high blood pressure and heart issues could be dealt with more effectively, I would. Does everyone want this for themselves, no. BUT I DO.
My morning started off well, especially after seeing our amazing Dr. Bill Andrews on the Today show. It just pushes me to achieve a much healthier life. There are SIGNIFICANT changes happening in our home. Mommy's not dragging around with no energy, snapping at the kids and husband all the time. Mommy's feeling well-rested, calmer and more connected to everyone. Plus, I still get to eat normal foods, just choosing to eat HEALTHIER foods. The weight is coming off, but that's just a nice side benefit. It wasn't my ultimate goal.
Exercise will have to be put into the mix, I'm checking into some Zumba classes, perhaps take up Jiu Jitsu with my daughter. It will come when I finish my 30-days and figure out a better routine and get the help needed in the year 2012.
And that's what's going on today, on this 8th day of my IsaJourney. I think more clearly these days, I'm not forgetting so much, I'm on top of things and nothing seems completely out of my reach. It's a huge change for me. I've also noticed my usual "seasonal blues" aren't here this year. That, alone, is worth it.
Today was like any other day, I started with my shake which I have now hidden my Ionix Supreme into. I'm taking the Cleanse for Life each day, because I can. I've got a ton of chicken marinating in lemon, so I can cook that up and have it with salad. Lean meat, gotta love it. Shhh, there's a bunch of garlic in there, too. Lemon Chicken without the skin, just with the cutlets and no breading. It's going to be fabulous. Even if I'm cooking it. HAHA. Just have to make sure I don't dry it out.
There's nothing like the smell of fresh lemons, garlic and quality ingredients in the house. Instead of the stale smell of the toaster oven and the processed nuggets, hot dogs and french fries!
And my taste buds are a lot more alert. They taste everything. Nothing is dulled anymore. It's BIZARRE. But so amazing.
